Beneath a soft February sky, sat the antique red car—polished, timeless, and full of charm. Parked on a gravel drive in Covington, Kentucky, it instantly set the tone for our Vintage Valentine’s Day mini photo sessions. It wasn’t just a backdrop; it became part of the story, adding a nostalgic touch that families and kids were drawn to the moment they arrived.

At first, there was a little shyness—glances at the car, quiet steps closer. But before long, that gorgeous red car had worked her magic. Families climbed aboard, suddenly transported into another time with Dad at the wheel.

Siblings leaned against the hood together while parents stood nearby soaking it all in. And in between the laughter were the quieter moments—the gentle hugs, the soft smiles, the looks parents give when they realize just how fast these days are going.

These Valentine’s Day pictures were about more than a holiday.

They were about capturing all the love in this current season of life—love between siblings, love between parents and children, and love shared between couples.

One session that was particularly meaningful was a wife who booked a session as a surprise for her husband who is in the military. With Valentine’s Day approaching, she wanted something tangible he could hold onto while he was away. Wrapped in a leather jacket, she leaned against the antique red car, her smile soft but strong—filled with love and longing.
