The sun is making its grand appearance. The earth is warming up. Little green sprouts are peeking up out of the dirt. It's that time! Time for beautiful SPRING mini sessions!
We've been offering mini sessions for a few years now, and we love them! We've met so many wonderful new friends and created some timeless portraits.
What is a mini session, you ask? Well, I'm so happy you did! A mini session is different than our regular sessions in that they are a fraction of the time at a fraction of the cost, scheduled back to back on a specific day with a specific theme. If you've never booked a mini session - here are 5 reasons to book one this year!
1. DISCOUNTED RATE
One of the biggest reasons to choose a mini session is that it's easier on your wallet. It seems everyone these days could benefit by saving a few bucks, and minis are a great way to get the same great quality at a smaller price tag.
2. SHORT AND SWEET
If you're like most families, you're super busy with all the different schedules and running here and there and have limited time to get everyone together. A regular photo session can last 45-75 minutes; whereas, each of our mini sessions is 10-15 minutes. "What!? There's no way you can get good photos in 15 minutes!" Actually, this timeframe is the perfect length for littles who have short attention spans and even for reluctant teens.
3. FAMILY / CHILDREN'S MILESTONES
Have you had a recent life milestone? A sweet new addition? A graduate? A birthday? Maybe just got engaged? (Congrats! 💍) A mini session is a great opportunity to celebrate change with updated portraits.
4. YOUR CHOICE OF IMAGES
A mini session is perfect for you if you only need a few images for updated canvas and frames or to print holiday cards. AND bonus points for the ability to choose your faves!!! Don't worry! You always have the opportunity to purchase additional photos as well.
5. IT'S FUN!
Fun!? Yes, a photo session can be fun! We'll meet at a beautiful park or other location. Select mini sessions have fun, unique props to match the theme. For example, Easter minis will allow the kids to play with faux chicks and snuggle a little lamb. Others, such as Cherry Blossoms minis, showcase the beauty of the natural surroundings. At Christmas, we'll even have a mini session for pictures with Santa!
Bonus Reason! - THE PHOTOGRAPHER
And finally, you get to "try-on" a professional photographer to see if I meet your preferences without committing to a full session at full price. I always do my best to make you feel comfortable and aim to return high-quality images you'll be excited to show off.
