I love spending time out in nature, so of course these creek mini sessions are some of my favorites from the entire year! I think they're a huge hit with the kids too, because more than one cried when it was time to leave. Sorry, parents! But thank you for enduring, because it was worth it for these priceless photos!
It must be the water. It's soothing. It's refreshing. It's magic. And I like to linger there too.
I adore the simplicity and the feeling of almost going back to my own childhood that I get from these images. Can you feel it too?
This little fella brought his own binoculars and hat which, paired with my home-constructed boat, made him a complete pro river explorer. And what kid doesn't love a good 'ole fishing pole?!
Summer creek sessions may be over for this year, but I'm itching for colorful fall and maybe even winter creek sessions (think snowy and sparkly!) if I have some inspired models!
